Get a converter from old style iPod charger to new style (assuming you use a newer stye ipod or an iPhone)
I have read somewhere that the old > new iPod adaptor thingies allow you to charge iPods on the docking station but don't work from the point of view of allowing music to be played. I'll be delighted to see this proved wrong.
Ive got. 6s but in an ideal world I just want to dot the thing on to the connector on top and leave it. Don’t really want phone In dust/paint tools being thrown around environment

Cheers chaps. Seems like the Bluetooth contraption seems one way. I still like the idea of being able to set up and leave poss in garage in due course and I’m not one of those types that has the phone welded to the hip. If anyone has one in their sock/stocking draw (this is an all inclusive WTB-I don’t discriminate -I’m sure some of you chaps venture to the dark side at weekends ...) then I’d be interested.
