  3. Again why ? If I'm at work and a load of randoms kept wanting to know what I'm doing by about the 3rd one I'd be in full on 'fuck off' mode ..... he hasn't asked for the attention, he claims to have been asked to ride the bike, he didn't ask for an empty track, whoever wanted him to ride it decided that, he isn't there for PR, he is there to do what he claims he was asked to do ...

  4. Oh that explains it all, he needed the track to himself so he didn't turn into a cheese melt under the pressure of other riders .....

  5. I’m certainly not a pitchfork wielder, in fact, totally the opposite, but the story does sound somewhat fishy and having seen pics of the guy riding (they’re on the MSv photo site) he doesn’t look particularly fast
Having worked for Ducati myself at their DRE days, I know that they tend go to club handed to everything they do with big teams of people, and they have plenty of top level Racers in the Uk they could draw upon to ‘test bikes’

  6. Indeed, and I didn't have you in the pitchfork camp, I also agree its not clear cut based on the data we have, just all reminds me of Brexit and the EDL, maybe Tommy Robinson has got himself an account on here !!!

  7. Not his real name!

  8. Thats my point - how with full akra system did he/it pass the 103db static noise test , if they can allow that , then making everyone else stick to 103db is a farse.. unless the single bike passed ride by noise limits ?

  9. Maybe he was simply testing a new, quiet akra :motorcycleduc:

  11. From what I’m led to believe some tracks are a bit lenient towards the Ducati for noise testing if it’s fitted with the standard system.

Another reason I like KH, none of this noise testing bullshit, granted it’s not the best track but at least you can rock up and head out without arsing about.

  12. Yeh i am familiar with MSV and std exhausts, but this was a full akra system and had the baffles removed..

I'd also have loved to ask him what his track suspension settings for static/rider sag etc were ;-)

  13. No noise testing but still the worst track ever

  15. Knockhill ....

Spa is easier to get to ... lol

  16. It might have been the father of that ISIS girl, and booked his own session so that no one saw him with his helmet off and pestered him about his daughter. He just made up the Ducati story to stop questioning

  17. And less rain

  18. He would only have his burka on if he took his crash hat off.

  19. Was it Martyn North?

  20. Ah Knockhill! I’ve never done it on a bike but its got a special meaning for me as the first ‘European’ Drift Championship round i ever did. I love the hill and first few corners.
