Those stickers on the near side frame rail, some have them, others don’t. Mine does and they bug me. Has anyone removed theirs, do they serve any purpose, am I reducing the value of my bike by taking them off??!!
Missing on mine, I presume that the dealer removed them for me. Look butt ugly IMHO. I guess that they also removed the stickers from the panniers as there were none on there when I collected. However, mine wasn't a from-the-factory touring model. rather one they created out of a standard 1260s adding the touring kit parts (panniers, heated grips and centre stand).
I removed mine and stuck them to a sticker backing. Used a heat gun to loosen the adhesive. Peeled off and stuck to sticker backing. One could put them back on although I can’t imagine anyone wanting to. At least I have them so someone could read them.
Yes, emissions statements, etc. Nothing important for operation IMO. They are buried or I'd dig them out and photo.
