1260 Stickers

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by gc6269, Feb 22, 2019.

  1. Those stickers on the near side frame rail, some have them, others don’t.

Mine does and they bug me. Has anyone removed theirs, do they serve any purpose, am I reducing the value of my bike by taking them off??!!

  2. Took mine off on day 1

  3. Missing on mine, I presume that the dealer removed them for me. Look butt ugly IMHO.

I guess that they also removed the stickers from the panniers as there were none on there when I collected. However, mine wasn't a from-the-factory touring model. rather one they created out of a standard 1260s adding the touring kit parts (panniers, heated grips and centre stand).

  4. Day 2 for me

  5. I removed mine and stuck them to a sticker backing. Used a heat gun to loosen the adhesive. Peeled off and stuck to sticker backing. One could put them back on although I can’t imagine anyone wanting to. At least I have them so someone could read them.

  6. Great, what do they say? Safety warnings maybe?

  7. Mine were not there when picked up new. Must be protectors fitted at factory.

  8. Yes, emissions statements, etc. Nothing important for operation IMO. They are buried or I'd dig them out and photo.

  9. They shall be gone then!
