Putting Denali horn on new 1260 which I had on 15 Dvt, question is do I have to fit it with the relay because I've found it works fine just connected to original wiring.
I've been thinking about getting one of these. Did you find a bracket for it? I was struggling to see one for the DVT. Had one on the old GS and loved it... it made van drivers cry.
Hi,I used the original mount but added an extension to the bracket which worked perfectly also powered it via the relay in the box but this time I tried the original wires and it worked fine.
OYB fitted mine to replace the shite one. Fairly sure I received very few bits left in the box. You could always call them & speak to Doug who's the bees-knees for multistrada knowledge. Or message the parts department to request an email response for the answer.
