Hi chaps. Wondered if anyone has had this happen? While in the outside lane fuel light came on and bike died managed to drift over and stop safely. Bike restarted straightaway refilled and kept to the inside lane and it did it again. The fuel light had not been on before it died . Had the fork seals renewed that day could something have been dislodged or crap in the filter ? Any thoughts welcomed
If that happened almost immediately, I'd err towards it being coincidental. would seem to indicate fuel pressure issues or electrical gremlins, they don't normally stop as soon as the low fuel light comes on. presume you mean refuelled at next available fuel station? presume it cut out again but this time the low fuel light didn't come on? Did it restart again once on the side of the road? Fork seals are a long way from the fuel tank. Feed us some more info please
