Stainless in black is asking for trouble surely. Every mark and nick will stand out like a sore thumb.
Perhaps, but the ones on the bike are black, stainless (colour) ones will just not look right ... the ducati ones on atm are pitted and made of chocolate! I’m hoping some decent quality black stainless ones should do the job. At £180 quid a set I would hope that they shouldnt “mark and nick” that easily!

Best of all you can order in specific quantities and they carry a large range of bolts and styles that marry up with most of the common OEM bolts on the current crop of Ducatis, as well as their being much better quality. They also carry a large selection of black stainless steel bolts as well. Failing that try Stig Fasteners. Below are literally just a handful of those I ordered. Either of these companies carry many bolts that the usual suspects such as ProBolt and Racebolt do not.
If you are after some custom bolts, I can't recommend these guys enough: www.haguefasteners.co.uk They made me these one off front frame bolts for the V4 and rear suspension bolts and nuts in stainless steel.
