41mm socket needed - near Hereford

  1. Hi,

    Got to give some TLC to the 748 prior to next weekend track day at Donnington...

    Need to remove rear sprocket carrier / hub. Need 41mm socket and everywhere in Hereford now closed...

    Any help appreciated,

  2. You could try Halfrauds, sometimes they have the bigger sizes in stock. Or ebay, most stuff is delivered pretty quickly

  3. Yep, tried Halfords... no joy... everywhere shut now...

    Really need one this weekend to get bike prepped and loaded in van... :(

  4. Just use a pair of stilsons, being careful will cause minimal marking to the nut

  5. If you're still stuck come Monday you could try Army Surplus Supplies if you have one near you, (Hereford??!!!) they carry all sorts of stuff/tools I've recently discovered at a third of the mainstream prices.

    3/4" drive 46mm sockets - £8.99 etc as an example - good stuff
