Hi all, I own a 2015 base model dvt , I was wondering if any fellow multi owners have tweaked there suspension for improved / more feedback on the handling side of things, I tweak the rear rebound when carrying er’ indoors, but thats about it Steve
Suspension tweaking is a dark art as far as I'm concerned. I had a 2010 base Multi and I took it to a suspension specialist who sorted it for me. It involves measuring the sag with you aboard and adjusting preload to centre the travel and compression/rebound to suit your riding style. I think it cost me around £60 8 years ago. It improved things enormously and gave me confidence that things were correct. That's my advice, get it done by a suspension specialist.

Despite the "wtf do I do to make it better as it's too complicated?" it would seem from many inputs on these handling threads, that many of the specialists give fantastic value and results for the price of less than a couple of tanks of fuel. Look through the threads for some of the better recommended ones and enjoy the results of probably the best spend on your bike.
I improved it by changing the shock and forks to Ohlins from Pikes Peak model. Easy to do. Yes it costs but worth while I think.
I have the same model and did what Bradders said. There is no suspension specialist near me. I rarely ride two up so once I set it it doesn't change much except I add preload to rear if loaded for a big trip. Yes, I could make it better by throwing money at it, but it's not a bad suspension at all.
Some simple stuff like tie wrap in front and rear suspension to gauge travel, or spend an afternoon riding your favourite road back and forth and add a couple of clicks on comp and rebound and see if it feels better or worse.
Road & track based in Meriden set mine up took a couple of hours to do and cost £150 never had to touch it again
