748 Frequency Meter

Discussion in '748 / 916 / 996 / 998' started by SamRforce, May 1, 2019.

  1. I did my very first timing belts changeover on my 748.
    It went very well thanks to the research and tips one this forum.
    I tried several frequency apps and the frequency meter made by Binarts works really well. 3€ well spend.
    Maybe old news but I wanted this to share.
    Cheers.

  3. Most people seem to use the Gates app these days but if this is even better, that's brilliant. :)

  4. That's useful to know, about Binarts, as the Gates app refuses to load and run on my iPhone. It was OK when I did my belts last August but since then I've updated iOS and now it won't work :(. I'll check out Binarts. :upyeah:

  5. V.Cool :cool::upyeah:

    Note: ExactFit Belts are 99Hz Nominal (110Hz Max) where OEM are 110Hz Nominal...

    Just read up on the Binarts App - some poor feedback, but it all depends on the operators I guess! If you achieved repeatable results it should be good - let see what others think when used. Never heard of it before!
