  1. I'm taking a friend to Donington on Thursday and managed to borrow some tyre warmers... but it hit me today that I dont have any spare track stands!!!!

Looking for front and rear track stands.... but would need boxing up and sending via courier ASAP!

    Rich.

  2. If you don't mind a minor detour I have a set u can borrow. I'm a few minutes off junction 25 M1 and I'm off work Thursday.
The rear is for small diameter pin but I have a conversion sleeve which will fit
Front is Harris rear is constand

  3. That would be great.... I presume I don't need to fit any bobbins? I'm hoping to drive down on Wed night, so would be passing your way around 7.30 -8.30pm, would that be convenient for you?

  4. If they are going on a 1198 no, rear picks up through rear spindle. Front sits under fork bottoms. Just checking the rear...

  5. Shitter, just checked the rear, when I made the sleeve it was for a genuine ducati paddock stand, it doesn’t fit my constand pin. I have a spare pin but it needs modifying, Without access to a lathe I’m stuffed

  6. Both my bikes have the smaller (40mm) hole... I have another stand buts it's the larger spindle.

  7. 40mm is the larger size, 1098/1199/1299 etc. smaller pin is 939sp/848 etc 25.8mm
I have a 25.8 pin in my rear paddock stand

  8. I have on that has a 42mm spindle... Measured this afternoon with a digital vernier gauge... I did have an 1199 that it fitted, but it doent fit my 1299?!

  9. Stand for 1199 should fit a 1098/1198.

If you have it already can’t you try it on the 1098?

  10. I have 2 rear stands, one with a 40mm and another with a 42mm. I remember using the one with the 42mm on an 1199, but my current 1299 only fits with the 40mm one!

Anyway, thanks to Andy800, I think I'm sorted for this week. I've also seen a pair on eaay that will do the job for the next track day.

  11. Hopefully my spare pin will fit one of the stands

  12. Saw pic of great improvisation the other day fri a front...a tool box ether side of the front with the bottom of forks balanced on them...need an exclusion zone for not getting knocked but brill ingenuity

  13. You can use one of mine :upyeah:
