Greetings To All Fellow Ducati Lovers !

  1. A big hello to all .
I've not been here for while because I lost my login details ( and my bike ! ).

I only recently recovered my cherished ST4 after 3 years ( and thousands of Km ) of separation ,
and I wondered if I would ever see it again .
It spent those years stood-up outdoors , a stone's throw from the Med and it's been in the heat
and sunshine , since somebody decided to take the cover off it .

It's going to need a lot of work to get it running again !

  2. Welcome Dave

  3. Welcome back and good luck with the restoration :)

  14. Welcome and yo

  15. welcome and enjoy

  16. Thanks for the welcomes everybody !

including all people called Dave .

I've been browsing the forum a little and it certainly seems to be a friendly place .
I think I recognise some members here from other Ducati forums in the past .

Was anyone here on Desmocorse.net ?
I think it was UK based but it seems to have disappeared now .

By way of further introduction , I suppose I should probably write about the restoration ,
but which section here would be the best place ?
    .... projects ? .... or ST4 ?

    @El Toro
Is that " Dave " in the Papa Lazarou sense ?

  17. Greetings! Was your bike stolen?

  18. There was an attempt to steal it , but luckily it was an idiot who tried .
He took a hammer and screwdriver to the locks before realizing
that there was no battery ..... no other damage was done .

It was padlocked and chained but they had gone , so I reckon he had been
at it for a while .
I got a tip off , and that put an end to it .

  19. OK glad the thief was unable to rob you...

But what is the story "I only recently recovered my cherished ST4 after 3 years ( and thousands of Km ) of separation , and I wondered if I would ever see it again"

  20. I haven't got around to making a proper first post yet ,
so I'll include some details in that .....
    :)
