  7. Some bikes seen at the Bike Shed Tobacco Dock show today.

A 1984 Mille bevel got up to look a bit like a 2004 Sport Classic. No idea why anybody thought this was a good idea.

Taking the expression "Cafe" rather literally:

Sprinter with machined alloy girder fork:

A neat Pantah adaptation, unfaired and with monoshock rear:

A 450 bevel single from about 1972, built into a grass tracker with hand gearchange. Open bellmouth on the carb would not fare well in dirt.

  9. Some very odd engineering amongst those!

The Ducafe has added frame bracing from an engine mount to the middle of a frame member. That’s how to add weight not stiffness.

The Pantah monoshock geometry looks to have near zero shock movement at the static sag position, so wo7ld have near zero springing or damping where mostly used.

Some of them are pretty though.

  10. The 1984 Mille is made to look like a Y2K MHR900e....and looks better than the MHR.

  11. Yeah right. Take a genuine original and turn it into a pastiche of a later tribute.

  12. Like the new Z900, it's more a retro copy of a Zephyr 750 than a Z1 - and the factory did that! Some crazies about :p
