  1. Lost mine sometime within the last 6 months, thank you :)

  2. The main stand rubber stops do slowly burn away and need replacing every year or so. They are a pain to fit.
The price looks at £1.20 looks good until you see the £2.75 P&P. The last OEM main stand rubber stop I purchased cost £2.81.

  3. Where did you find oem for that money? I kept finding them at £10 - £15. To be fair I did not call a dealer as it was the weekend so they were closed. If they burn through every year, I may buy a few next time to dilute the p&p

  4. I got them from my local Ducati dealer (Ducati Alyesbury) and the price was a year or so ago and may have gone up a bit looking at the Euro price on the KFM-Motorräder website, i.e 3,36 EUR.

  5. As bad as design can get. Together with the back brake. What kind of person thinks that something made of rubber touching the catalyst is a good idea?

    Thanks for the info

  6. Good to know. I’m going to have a look at cutting mine down as the centre stand keeps grinding out when two up.

  7. The DVTs have the rubber mounted on the center stand, and it's not as thick. Now the center stand smashes the cat every time. One of the worst cstand implementations

  13. Thanks Twin4me
Utterly loathe that bang! Sounds like it’s smashing the cat box to pieces.

  14. I’ve been a silly boy. Still got a bung on the stand even if it’s worn slightly. I assumed it was making a horrendous noise as it should have 2 bungs. Reading elsewhere in the forum and seeing the schematic it’s only one bung on the stand and not on the bracket on the cat. So the noise is “normal”!! Thought my cat box was being smashed to pieces. Not the best design on such a fantastic bike.
