Termignoni Pikes Peak

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by Jim89, May 19, 2019.

  1. I love the look of bike but the silencer looks too small and I’d want a full system.

  2. Thread moved

  3. End can looks a bit Chavy for a Termi.

  4. Looks like they've stuck a beer can on the end lol. I'd still buy one. Atleast it isn't the size of the gsxr standard can:joy:

  5. Probably why I like it:joy::joy:

  6. SC Project or AR end can clone?

  7. They're the same style. Be good to hear them.

  8. Looks like a very easy way of gaining a european police ticket. As I posted inside @James - BR Special Tuning photo album, it would be nice to hear a video of this exhaust.

  9. I quite like the look of that tbh

Cant imagine that it sounds any different to the standard stubby termi though as it still retains the Cat

  10. +1 on that. It's not a silencer, just an end piece. Put that at the end of a decat midpipe and it's going to be loud as ****.
Don't be fooled. It's strictly cosmetic to make it look like the Pikes Peak racebike.
Notwithstanding, I like the look as well even if if doesn't produce any differences in sound or performance.
    $800 USD.

  11. I agree, to get sales based on the PP race bike, and you are right it will sound too bloody loud!

  12. Well I got a link from james who responded on his own imaging album.

    Termignoni D193 Silencer - Ducati Multistrada 1260 (S / Enduro / Pikes Peak) 2018-19

    Price is £658

  13. Be interested to hear more when you have news

  14. Hi James- maybe a stupid question, but is this designed also to replace the termi end can from a full termi system I’ve currently got on my bike?

  15. Hi Dans,
Unfortunately, this new Termi is not a silencer. It is simply a good looking end piece.
All the muffling of a stock Multistrada happens in the mid-section as opposed to your full system which has a real silencer as a tail piece.
If you put that short Termi end can on your full Termi header, it will be the equivalent to an open pipe.

  16. Thanks James! I’m sure it would sound awesome though!!!

  17. Termignoni already has a decat pipe but the new iteration for this end pipe will require more muffling given the short size of the D193.
I'll be following the development closely. Very interesting. Thanks for sharing.

  18. I've got one on order, hopefully arriving soon. I'll post some pics and a video clip although I know that won't give an exact sound as if heard in the flesh.

  19. I'm sure it will look awesome. It's a nice piece.
However, I have been next to a Multistrada 1200 with the end piece (aka; the muffler) completely removed.
No noticeable difference in sound tone or volume. Everyone can try this themselves.

Replacing the mid-section? Now that's a different story.
