  4. Leave as it is and use your satnav. It will save you the hassle of changing it when you come back

  5. Would have been quicker to go to the index of his maual and find the page needed, rather than fire up his computer, navigate to the forum, create a new post, then await a reply.

  6. Exactly!

  7. I can't talk by the way. I bought one of these last year rather than read my manual. o_O It's still in the packet if anybody wants it. :)

  8. How about instead of worrying about Brexit you change your system of measurement to one founded on a scientific basis :bomb:

  9. Agreed 100%. The EU need to swith to the imperial system. :upyeah:What's confusing about miles, feet and inches? There are 63360 inches in a mile, what's difficult about living with that?

Better still, ditch the Euro and go with Groats and Schillings. :)

  11. Even I haven't read the owner's manual cover to cover. It has an index to help you find the section that you might want to read :)
Or you could download a PDF version of the owner's manual from the Ducati website and use the search function in your chosen PDF viewer.

  12. You'll find that there's a problem with converting the units from miles to km.... Trips 1 and 2 reset to zero! Why the programmers couldn't have built in a converter so these were maintained across the switch but converted on the fly I don't know. I like to maintain trip 2 as a total record of my tour and reset trip 1 after each refuel. IF MV and Honda, my last two bikes and only ones I've owned with digital dashes, can make this work why not Ducati?

  13. You might need to also convert the units on your manual from cm to mm and then lose quite a few ;)

  14. the link above is for pre-DVT bikes.
I think its similar though - i.e. turn the ignition on whilst holding the flasher switch in.
A search on here would have found this: https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/threads/km-to-mph.52356/

I'm with Bumpkin, leave the bike speedo alone and change the satnav speed indication instead if you can't work out the kph equivalent.

  15. Will do cheers

  16. You seem to very aware of what I have going on at the moment. Very helpful. Not.

  18. You're welcome :)

  19. This thing should be banned! You need to look your speedo and search for the conversion in the table.
Seriously, Am I an autistic brilliant mind in math or none of you can just do the conversion automatically when riding/driving?
