Spain On Sunday!

  1. Off to Spain via France on Sunday. This is roughly my route. Getting excited:cool:

I was booked on the Pompey - Santander ferry outward, but with the problems with the Pont Aven boat that I was booked on I decided to go Pompey - Caen and ride down through France, two more days on the bike, so not a hardship:) And yes, back on the Santander ferry. Leave 16th and back on the 26th

  13. I’m taking that ferry tomorrow night and riding down through France and across to Llanes where I’m based for a few days of exploring the Picos area. I come back via Santander - today they told us we are going to have to return via Plymouth.

    I’m in Potes now. Roads have been quiet as it’s out of season.

  17. Away from the mountains the weather is ok’ish. A real bu66er, if like me, you came to go on the cable car and see the Picos.

    Why oh why do the Spanish persist on driving around the blindest of bends whilst encroaching on the opposing carriageway.

  18. Think that's just sloppy locals in mountain areas in general, not expecting anything else on the road... Have had it in France too.
