Seats Re-upholstered ? .... Any Hints , Links Or Pointers ?

Discussion in 'Builds & Projects' started by oldtech, Jun 9, 2019.

  1. Does anyone know a business where seats can be re-upholstered/recovered ?
    ( I like to support small , local artisan businesses if I can , but I'll send it anywhere with a good rep )

    I've got an ST4 with a seat that is showing it's age ( same with the arse that's been sitting on it )

    It's not split but there's a lot of sun fade , and some claw marks , thanks to the darling little cat
    that my Ex GF blessed our lives with ( it did some custom refinishing on the HiFi speakers as well )

    And the stuffing could do with replacing .

    In the seat .....
    .... not in the cat .

    :rolleyes::innocent:

    Any hints , links or pointers will be much appreciated .

    Thanks

  2. Go on to Facebook and find Terry the Trimmer. He's being trimming for 40 years, I use him for all my camper van seats. His work is on another level, and Im sure he could do your seat

  3. @Beef 's son-in-law does it.

  4. Staple the cat to the seat.

  5. Is the ST4S seat the same ? If so, I might still have the seat left from the project bike.

  7. Had my GSA seat lowered (scooped to drop it by 25mm), narrowed and gell insert(ed) by this guy.... http://www.cmseats.com/ You can send the seat to him, or sometimes he'll do it while you wait and watch. Excellent job:upyeah::upyeah::upyeah:
