just looking over my new bike and noticed this all over the Akra exhaust and rear wheel. Clearly the chain lube has spun off What’s the best way to clean this off
WD as well as being a good cleaner, stops gunk sticking as well .. on the wheels anyway, it burns off the zorsts but still cleans em good.
Are your riding your bike immediately after lubing the chain, that fling looks excessive. Try lubing and giving it an hour before riding if you can as the lube thickens and becomes more sticky over time and flings less. WD40 is your friend.
Better still use Wurth dry chain lube and see what little mess you get in comparison. WD40 works well
Don't rub the lube too hard on the first application, regardless of what you use to clean it off. Grit collects in the lube, and then you get scratchy paste instead of grease.
