  3. True - rear brake not all that vital

Exhaust is also grounding out ......

    Wind up the rear pre-load?
    Does that raise the back?

  4. I would think so, otherwise rear sets and aftermarket exhaust

  6. I caught the left peg on the ground yesterday..........it unsettled me a bit as I wasn't expecting it :p

  7. More clearance? Head down to your ducati dealer, chop in your Harleyesque thing and buy a multi :p

  8. Not that I ever use the rear brake, but I had cause to last weekend when I did an IAM observed ride.............anyway the bloody back brake is about as much use as men's tits.

The brake lever itself is badly designed so you need to be a ballet dancer to get your foot into the position required to be able to press it and then it needs bleeding constantly. Not brilliant.

Diavel is our 'shopping bike' (my wife chose it as other Duc' lacking pillion accommodation).

Do I really need to get a Hyper Multi Strada thingy - she who must be obeyed needs to be convinced

  12. y'see that's the fun of a Diavel - no one expects it

  13. I have to say that it's still takes me a good ten minutes to get in the groove with the Diavel whereas the Panigale was instant, as is the Scrambler.

However once I'm in the groove its a whole heap of fun :)

  14. Agree!! I thought it was just me doing that weird foot ballet thing! Never use my back brake... except, also, on the AIM test..

  15. Pump rear tyre up, that raises ground clearance;)

  16. Getting the same issue my self on the 1299

  17. Wow great, thanks for this- I’ll have a look and give this a crack. However it could just be that the position of the lever is not designed for my mere human foot!

  18. Sorry......it doesn’t alter the shape of the pedal. It’s just shit as standard and could be fixed easily by being bent upwards.

  19. Yes I agree... on my old Diavel Carbon I bent it up my mistake on a track day leaning and it was just about perfect...

Italian style can’t be perfect engineering I guess!
