Trouble is, some people like the same joke day in day out, for years. Just take bins, wotsits, yellow bikes are fastest and Dave for example.
Don't all Dj's talk rubbish or nonsense all day long, that's what they're paid for................entertainment for the masses.
Sorry, I meant the era that 'Smashie and Nicie' took the piss out of and then BBC Radio 1 made big changes due to having the Mick taken out of them
man. the trouble that guy has caused in workshops. cant stand his show, its all lovely and wonderfully fluffy nicey nice. bleugh. in every shop i have worked there was always some kind of battle of the channels going on. one guy i know, in a workshop of 5, insisted we had to listen to it. we where all into Chris Moyles, every fuggin day after lunch, he would walk up to the thing and change the channel. cos the boss said he could. he eventually resigned on the spot after throwing a strop when he discovered some crafty sod had butchered the radio so it couldn't be adjusted.
Zoe Ball - way too lively for that time in the mnormnoing and its all ‘my luvly’ thus and that Ken Bruce - popmaster & an ok shadow that’s worth a listen, good banter Jeremy Vine - must be the most spitting image like caracuture on radio right now...beyond whataboutery standards of all bar Channel 4 Steven Wright - irritating with his Posse, but olive the listeners play list and the jockin slot - the music not the inane down wi da kids shite The northern bird - enough said, listened to Mayo for years and quite liked the Mayo/Wiley set up Listen to Apple Music a lot these days....
Agreed , but she's a Northern half-wit so she gets a pass Come to think of it , she's from the same town as my ex ..... so maybe I'll take that back As for Steve Wright and his ilk ..... DJs who think they are stars ? .... no thanks . Play the records , chat a bit but keep things in proportion or at least keep the ego on a short leash !
slag him off all you want, but you can't say that his dress sense has't changed(- his size might've though)
