Superpole Seat...

Discussion in 'Ducati General Discussion' started by yellowducmaniac, Jul 28, 2019.

  1. There's one of these on eBay at the mo and it's heading for upwards of £300, i was going to have a punt but maybe not at that money, forgive my ignorance but what is so special about them to justify the price tag?

  2. Availability.......

  3. Yeah....but what's so special apart from that?

  4. I didn’t get one on mine but those the did / have say they are the dogs - they need to reply to that question really ......

  5. I have a Superpole seat on my 1098R and as a taller rider, the extra thickness of the pad does help ease the knee bend. The shape of the seat is also a lot more supportive whilst the material helps to keep your arse in place. I was lucky enough to buy one new 2 years ago and very pleased that I did although not sure the benefit is worth what they are asking now. Andy

  6. ^^^As Andy said. I got one off someone on here a few years ago for £130 posted - no way would I pay £300!

  7. Super pole seat ?
    Whats it look like?
    Don't worry just googled it.
I'm in Vancouver and I popped in to Ducati yesterday, they were selling a yellow seat Cowel for a 749/999 for $99 (£65) Looked like a bargain

  8. Currently at £220 + £5 postage with 2 hours to go. Not totally sure but I think they were about £180 new. Andy

  9. Bloody nora, that's incredible! I've got one on my 1098R and I must say they're very good (very grippy) but I'm sure it was half that amount :astonished: They aren't particularly pretty but they are functional.

  10. £210 new without the dealer discount.

  11. I have a spare available if anyone wants one.
