  1. My wife hit a deep pot hole on her monster yesterday. Dented the front and rear rim. The rear I can tap out with a dolly but the front is really bad. Anyone know a good repairer?
    thanks

  4. I've had wheels repaired by Maidstone Motoliner in the past, they did a good job! Don't know anyone else.

  5. Brain and John Parsons can repair that easy, he does any wheels I have, he did a Galespeed wheel for me that had a massive dent in the rim 10x worse than that. Only prob is he's Near Aldershot, Hants.

That or get back take a photo of the pot hole and make them pay for a new pair!

  6. Had a 1098R front done by them. It was badly damaged but they repaired it ok. Needed a repaint though.

  7. Yeah, lots of photos and get down the council!

  8. I was thinking of chasing the council but its probably not the easiest thing to chase. It happened in a country lane by shobham airfield just outside the craven arms area. Long way away from porthcawl. Any one on here had any luck in chasing one of these claims?

  9. Never done one BUT it was on our local news how much the council has had to pay out this year so far in claims, worth doing IMO.

  10. Motoliners are the guys...........Maidstone as above

  11. Claiming from the Council's insurer has its challenges. Unfortunately all the Council has to do is show due diligence and that it has inspected the roads in its area regularly - read that as once every six months. If you can prove that a pot hole has been reported and the Council has done nothing in a reasonable time, you should get full recompense for the repair and "reasonable" expenses. Not impossible but you need to be determined. Good luck with getting the repairs and claiming the cost off the Council. :upyeah: Andy

  12. +1 for these guys. They've been in the business for decades and know their stuff. The sorted my bent Pantah frame back in the mid 90's after I T-boned a Transit van! Unfortunately that wheel was beyond repair and now lives on my workshop wall :upyeah:
