Spot The Exhaust Quiz

  1. Hi all - can anyone tell me what this exhaust is? Looks like an Akra, and Ti link pipe, but does anyone know exactly?

    Its on a 1299S thats for sale and seller doesn't know anything about it

  3. It's an Akra slip on system. Uses the stock header pipes. Though rear loop looks like it might be Ti as OEM version has the kindergarden welds on it.

  6. The link pipe/header in the pic is Ti. I thought the stock pipe was stainless? Brom I think you may be right about the SL pipe, I can't find the can in my pic for sale anywhere. Do you think has the full system from the SL then?

  10. Stock pipes are not stainless on 1299. A lot of owners painstakingly polish them !!!!

    Titainiun does go blue with heat, so looking at picture it could !

    I nearly bought the same set of cans last year but the seller did not have the link pipe they were £750. So I spoke dealer asked them if they could source, but they could not.. Also said they would not fit 1299 .. I gues they were wrong.

  14. Akra with cats as fitted to the r has Titanium stamped on them, Akra race exhaust has Akrapovic stamped.
