This may have been covered before on here but I cant find anything recent. Placed an order for a Rukka goretex proshell jacket (water proof outer shell rather than liner being goretex). Jacket arrived about 4 days later, minus inner jacket and CE armour. Contacted FC M. via email, just to keep a record of communication...several days later email back with a returns note to print out. Soooo, contact FC M and 2 days later get another email saying jacket had to be returned as they cant send items separately. Hmm. OK. So, once snow had gone and I could get out of our estate again, send parcel back to FC M. And wait. After checking up on the tracking number I contacted them to say, 'hello, remember me? Are you sending a new jacket with all parts?' In short, no. Another 2 days pass and I get an email to say refund paid in to bank. At a cost to me of around £17 for Euro/Sterling from my bank. Long story short. Dont bother. In theory some fantastic savings, but a complete ball ache to deal with, time wasted, and a little out of pocket. Shame as the jacket was cracking. Now got another similar Rukka jacket on from UK. Slightly dearer but already en route 1 day after placing order. Just hope this one is complete. BTW, I tried the Rukka jacket with my Halvarssons/Lindstrands and they zip together perfectly. Assuming this is the same for rest of the products in their respective ranges. This may be of use to somebody thinking about a mix and match! Also, always keep packaging and DO NOT remove labels until you are sure all is well. So very nearly cut the labels off!
Thats a shame. I bought a lid from FC moto last year, arrived in two days. this year i had a horror story with Omnia racing but i'm sure many folks have had no drama's with them. just luck of the drawer i guess. As and when possible I like to keep my business local FWIW i lost a fair wad more than £17 and faffed around for 6weeks plus
I think that's the risk you take with a non UK supplier. I've used FC Moto a few times without any problem and the savings were worthwhile but I always ordered with my fingers crossed.
Thats what got me TBH. I waited weeks for something and when it turned up them item was wrong, they didn't believe me and wanted proof Best part of all is that they sent me an item worth £500 more than what I bought. I did the right thing and it cost me a boatload of hassle and I was the one who lost out due to exchange rates, having to mess around sending it back then waiting for my refund. They answered my emails pretty quick when they wanted their wheel back, not so much when I was asking where it was for 4 weeks I waited during delivery...funny that I'll stop moaning now.... Nerve is still a little raw from that particular incident
I've used fc moto a few times now and have been very happy. It's very much luck of the draw I think with these online overseas companies.. that said I've been fucked over buy a few English companies in the last few years...

I ordered some Daytona boots from them, for delivery in 2-3 working days. Their latest update puts it at 35 working days and they're still advertising available within 2-3 days. Looking for an alternative supplier.
In the interests of fairness; they offered me a further 10% off to wait, then another 5% for another week so they were a bit of a bargain, although they won' t see much action this year now. They arrived today, very nice they are too!
