This is why I love this forum. Thanks guys & gal, everyone is so helpful, you’ve all helped me make my decision. Ta very much The current lawnmower is a Mountfield with a B&S engine, it’s about 18 years old, never been serviced, I think I’ve only topped the oil up twice and fixed the pull start once but it’s probably seen better days and is now weeping oil from the cylinder head. So it’s the cheaper one at €312 for me. Plus it’s red and I can stick a Ducati sticker over the Mountfield sticker and put the extra €138 towards bike stuff - man maths. Thanks to all.
I can totally agree with this statement and after lawn mowing the other day and admiring it my mrs asked me to manicure her lady garden! Wasn’t really a Nicky Clarke job looked more like her badly picked Kebab had enlisted in the marines after I’d finished with it
And beforehand looked like a member of the Jackson 5 circa 1975 after being made to stand in a wind tunnel?
It appears that from today, I need a new lawn-mower. The wife has only gone on strike and is refusing to do any more mowing OR bleeding gardening. What's the world coming to??..
read this ducati dad. a quick google gives you all the answers. https://www.bing.com/search?q=how+t...-40&sk=&cvid=FADD908C26374371AA54A450DC7E4802
My Lawnmower has a Lithium Battery, 56Volt, it's even got LED headlights, does a good job for me..... Hasn't burst into flames yet either.
Na mate, she's a good 'un, I've had it for a couple of years already, I've already had to mow the lawn 3 times this season as well, feckin' global warming!
I've already got a load of the Ryobi brushless tools. Anyone used their mower? Makes sense to try them as all their tools use the same battery
These seems well built. Had a 530sper 21" for 2 years never missed a beat...I would not go for electric start again, so easy to start with the cord. https://hyundaipowerequipment.co.uk/garden-machinery/petrol-lawn-mowers/?dir=desc&order=price
I wish I’d never clicked on that link . I thought it was going to be about lawnmowers. Now I’m probably going to suffer from a display of embarrassing adverts
