But I have just discovered I can now select a different image size when posting from Photos to here ie original, large, medium, small. Selecting large drops the file size down to around 400kb from 1.5mb makes it upload to posts here much quicker and, importantly, load quicker when people read the post. Useful.
I find on my phone (not done that yet) that it restless most of my stuff. So I always go and turn most of the refresh off, sort the screen out etc

As this thread has a suitable title I’m going to resurrect it. WHAT’S UP WITH MY PHOTOS Since upgrading, when I upload a photo on here it’s hit and miss it displays the right way up. It displays the right way up in my phone, and laptop, within Photos but not on here. They’re flipped by 90 or 180 degrees. I’ve even taken one of the errant photos, duplicated it 3 times, turned each of the duplicates through 90, 180 and 270 degrees then uploaded ALL 4 variants but still it wouldn’t appear the right way up on here. Does anyone have any idea what’s going on? It’s annoying.
Must be your settings. I have the updated iOS on both iPhone and iPad and I’m able to upload pics normally.
Im trying to work out if it only those photos taken in landscape mode and/or which way up the phone is when they’re taken. It’s only started doing it since iOS 13 though
Maybe its the orientation of your phone in landscape. O always try to take (XR) with the power button down so I can use the volume button to take the pic. Seems to work ok.
