  5. Thomas Cook ex-boss grilled over £500,000 bonus https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-50053594

How do they justify these big bonuses when they obviously aren’t doing a good job, he says he’ll have to think about what the right thing to do is : unamused:

  6. Start that ol game though and I would like politicians to give back their earnings to the people as they have not done their job and also bankers should give back everything they’ve taken. Pandora’s box if they force that one through. Right or wrong it would end up as a massive cluster fuck

  7. Why not start the ball rolling. :)

  8. Cos ultimately when the rich get their noses put out of place we the workers end up paying for it somewhere down the line. House always wins and only fools and horses work

  12. I’m not In the market for change In this country bradders as i don’t feel that people really want change. Stockholm syndrome I think it’s called? I’m packing it all up in a few years selling it all lock stock and buying a nice remote plot in Aquitaine and never returning to Britain as when I think to myself how can we put up with all the nonsense in this country.. what happens is I get all wound up and ready for action then nobody wants to do anything but sit in front of the shit tv that they moan about and eat shit food from some takeaway app that they moan about and Groundhog Day begins. I’ve realised that one man can’t help the blind see so I will
Just remove myself from the equation and live an energetic but sedentary lifestyle. :upyeah:

  15. Skitz it only becomes toxic when you ingest it, i live in an ex-mining village in the valleys and i don't venture far away from it, i am amongst some of nicest people i have ever met in my whole life who like me don't have a lot except the time of day. I care and they care makes for a happier life bud.

  16. 100% agree!! As I approach my 40’s I am seeing it all for what it really is and to me it doesn’t make for pleasant viewing. For years I tried to help people help themselves by constantly putting myself under pressure and driving my stress factor up to the stratosphere but now I’ve learned that people are shallow and ideals for a better future are just pipe dreams to them as really they quite like being miserable and told how to live by social media popular culture and the detritus they are fed through the tv. I think what’s happened is I have given up on humanity and now am full steam
Ahead to getting my little family out of it with opportunity and a better life.

  17. Good luck to you and your family, i know its said your troubles always stay with you, but for us it wasn't the case, i left the Isle of Wight after 60+years and moved to Wales (no need to go abroad) i still have a big part of my family there and have a good relationship with them all. Don't burn bridges and have a good life.

  18. I suppose what I mean is I have great mates who I'd do anything for! The same with my family but all the bloody government shit and I hate even saying the brexit word i completely ignore because the crap will always happen to suit there agendas and that's on both sides ! the anger this stuff used to induce in me was toxic , so 1rst November 2014 I decided to ignore all the white noise and get on with living !!! And I've never been happier I concentrate on the good stuff around me and get as many holidays in the sun as possible !! That's where I think @hyperdildo is rite the establishment will only ever look after themselves !
