999 Ebay

Discussion in '749 / 999' started by xander296, Sep 28, 2019.

  1. It is worth 'exactly' whatever it bids up to on the auction at that point in time
My guess would be £5000 max :eyes:

  2. It does look nice.
The tin forks are standard on a 999
This one looks to have been converted to a monoposto, which should increase the value. Given the mileage, £6000??

    • Agree Agree x 1
  5. Its not a bargain, just what it is worth..

  6. On that day.

  7. And just what I predicted too :bucktooth:

  8. Or week to 10 days :eyes:

  9. seems like a good price compared to others on ebay, but then they haven't sold so maybe asking a bit much and as you say thats what their worth.

  10. Exige Yep your guess was on the money alright

  11. Did you buy it :eyes:

  12. Just the same as anything that gets bought..

  13. I did think about it but I coildnt get to see it first so missed out

  14. That's not how eBay works silly! You bid on it win, then either:
    Pretend it didn't happen
Say your son did it and he's only 9 and doesn't understand.
Turn up, kick tyres, suck teeth and starts haggling.

  15. Ha ha I will remember that next time

  16. Trying to decide what to do now, sell the standard 749 low mileage and go for a 999 or go for an 848, 749 was my first Ducati and I do like em so far after a full diet of Jap bikes but not sure on the 848

  17. There’s experience talking...

  18. Its backup might go see it at the weekend anyone got any pointers? does service history if it has none put people off? if its a 999 with ohlins put on does that make it worth less

  19. As has been said before, it looks like a nice bike but is a converted base model (not necessarily a bad thing if the price is right)
I am a bit puzzled by the picture of the speedo, the brake and clutch reservoirs appear to be the cylindrical type. I thought they should be like this..
