Women and vacuums, not an issue, they have been working with them since the 1900's. Keep up the good work, make sure you're back by 6 as the cooker doesn't switch its self on.
Trump just about to call them for a chat. I think I would say something like " I'm a little busy atm"
There's no way they haven't looked at that picture and thought.........."My bum looks big in this" or ask their other halves "Does my spacesuit make me look fat?".
I am outraged at the misogyny being displayed in this thread against two helpless females. Picking on weaker people who could out-think, out-perform and out-fight any four forum members (each) is simply unacceptable and in true proud new tradition of chauvinist-feminist confusion-cloud modern-male thinking, I'm disgusted. Also I am not "charging to their rescue" with this post cos that would be bad too. They can defend themselves without the patriarchy rushing to their rescue. But seriously, bantz against women astronauts is wrong cos, ah, feminism, bruh. So yeah.
Yawn. ^^^ it a great achievement a long time coming. Having watched a few of those ‘go to space’ type programmes, it’s a very physical and mentally demanding thing. Surely one of the last barriers for women in work. we may even see one in a good F1 car sometime next....or maybe not
It's one of those odd things isn't it, one minute we are being told we only pick the best people for the job and all candidates are treated equally and the next its "oooo look two women" I'm sure they are more than qualified and good luck to them , it's just the double standard that sometimes has you face palming
