thought I would post this here... I am currently building a custom bike out of an ST4s... Took the frame in to my mates factory today to fully weld it… I noticed the cracks on the underside of the cross over frame tubes, both sides! really glad that I braced it now! If you have an ST I would check all around the welds on the cross over with a torch....
yes - early Monsters also do that at the same/equivalent place, usually caused by a combination of long engine bolts loose and bike ridden hard.
yes, I have been reading about it... seems they moved from 10mm to 12mm bolts, just been out to check and mine are 12mm
