Doesn't matter...all that matters is the depreciation. I reckon the SF will depreciate less time on time than the Kwak in real numbers, not in percentage terms.
The new V2 looked and felt great though, the new Fireblade felt awful and was expensive compared to rivals, will be interesting to see how it rides.
Given what some ask for 4 yr old panigales, there’s plenty who are delusional enough to belive they don’t depreciate much
As i say eventually i may but i keep them for quite a length of time, in that, i tend to feel that i got my moneys worth out of them....right now im a 70 30 keep my rsv4 (its the only one that id part with for the zed ) and the highlighting reasons are that id never see its limit and i still enjoy riding it..alot and that the thing is firmly in anlog land in that i can pretty well sort anything out on it that goes wrong...which i like (i find maintenance like therapy)
@bradders just a couple of ducati t shirts for the girls mate. Though very tempted with the v4r !! What a bike.
Feck me, there’s a young fella in the background with a dead bear on his head, no way he’d ever get a crash helmet on.
Looks like they copied it from my DucatDoodlePug - the barstewards! Perhaps I ought to stop posting gratuitous photos of it Maybe, I should sue them. Nah, perhaps not, I can see it now ‘man who plagiarises a Ducati sues Ducati for plagiarising his plagiarism’. I’m not sure it would wash with the judge, best I keep quiet.
I'm glad you've posted this photo... If you look closely at the back of the clocks you can see some blu tac holding the cover on, it fell off in my hand on Saturday so they stuck it on with blu tac!! Pretty poor for the $$$, not for me anyways. The show is always a disappointment, but if you're with mates etc it's a good laugh albeit a bit expensive. Kawasaki need to have a word with their designers, probably the ugliest bikes out there by some distance. New Fireblade is gopping, and 24K is a bit rich for the top model. Aprilia, CCM, Indian and KTM were the standout stands for me.
I like kwaks style (but thats me) having said that i want to see the zh2 in the flesh...going tomorrow...the back of those clocks on the SF looked like an afterthought...
I have to say I am underwhelmed by all the manufacturers exhibiting. The “New” bikes are mediocre and the stands even more so.
Went yesterday. We make a good trip out of the show and stay in the Hilton next door. At £280 for an executive room for the night and a few quid for a good meal in the centre of Brum, it is expensive, but the parking was free and there is a path to the NEC at the back of the Hotel. My girl wanted to buy a new Supersport 939, but was disappointed that the non S model is only available in charcoal and she wants red. Ducati have not put the nice bits on the SS either, every other Ducati seems to have colour dash and cornering ABS now. We spent more time on the BMW stand looking at the R1250RS. Guess that we might sell both Ducati's this year and go for a pair of BMW's.
Tbf mate if you’re coming to uk just for that and spunking probably £400 plus on it, I’m sure you could afford to paint it red
