998 Finally Got To Ride Her...

Discussion in '748 / 916 / 996 / 998' started by bettes, Sep 17, 2015.

  1. Interesting top yoke.

  2. Got it off Tom Irvine a few years ago. That’s when I sold the DP bar risers. ;)
    Does the same thing.

  3. The bar risers fit well.

  4. What's the next plan mate??

  5. Still trying to get the sensors working mate. I’m pestering John @Old Jock like mad but he’s getting the job sorted. Dicking about with resistors across the sensors atm trying to get decent readings. Getting there!

  6. I thought you had a digital dash in there all ready??

  7. Yes mate but too hard to configure. There’s no config setting so couldn’t get some of the features working.

  8. Not sure about the carbon bit. Went overboard blinging the 848 out with carbon and other stuff. I had thought about painting the shield and heel guards to keep the original look. I will get her mint and hopefully keep her standard.

Just reading this!! Made my laugh mate :joy::laughing::sob:

  12. Nothing better to do this weekend so decided to try and smarten up underneath the MS Production seat unit. It bugged me every time I lifted the seat and seeing all the overspray since I fitted it a couple of years ago.
Also added a bit of heat reflective foil I had kicking about. Not sure this’ll make the heat any less of a pig but might help a little...

picked these up as well to get fitted during the next service. The proper Ti head bolts were impossible to find so got these for a decent price off Ducati Kaemna.
