Termignoni were always good they were a bit more than ok, but Igor Akrapovic took it to another level to the point where if a bike ran a works titanium full system in the late 90's and 2000's it was actually an Akrapovic exhaust, if not at the cans certainly on the primaries. He bought a sizeable stake in Arrow some years ago, so it's by no coincidence that their development has come on leaps and bounds. He cottoned early onto the titanium tubes thing, and it's by no accident that his real success has been as the man who controls the titanium tube market, and his dyno facility and exhaust modelling and design facility is second to none now. Russell from Phase One used to race against him back in the day so they got to know each other very well.
Very sad to hear this , although he had been very ill for some time . He and Barry Humphries introduced the whole world to that wonderful Australian flavour of satirical comedy ..... so dry , so funny , and so uniquely twisted .
One of those rarities, a very public polymath. His regular show that included satirising popular culture across cultures (eg. those cruel but hilarous Japanese "game shows") was ahead of it's time. Grateful for his work.
