Hello I am looking at zipping these two together. The zippers are different sizes of course. So i took it to a tailer and because the jacket is larger the zipper length is 41 inches. The pants are only a 270 zipper so I am increasing the length to make it a 360 zipper. So the pants are smaller and will be only 33 inch zipper. Has anyone else over done this? I understand there will be a large pocket at the front because of the size difference. I am thinking of adding about 3 inches of leather hang on the jacket close to the zipper end so that the zipper can travel down that so the bunch at the front is reduced. I am open to ideas though.
Ok figured out. Stitched a 36 inch zipper on the jacket and pants not altering the factory zipper at all. Zipped together beautiful.
