I would say BS! Fundamental principal of a microwave can't be reversed. You can send electro-magnetic waves to excite atoms, but you cannot 'un-excite' them. It's on the BBC site, but most sane people no longer believe everything that the BBC tells them!
Laughable comparing it too a microwave, other than gobbling up loads of electricty. I don't think you're fizzy can will be to great after its spun to cause a convection current to take place inside the liquid. And the thing is just a giant water based chiller..seconds yeah as in 90+ seconds (also known as) aka a minute & a half or more
As said a fizzy drink will be like a hose pipe when it’s opened up spirting out , I once put instant coffee in the microwave and almost went back in time
It's just a matter of rapid energy exchange, so we could call it a 'fridge+'. Stupid dumb-down headline of 'reverse microwave' for those that don't understand science... Argh.
A famous vacuum manufacturer designed a rapid chill section into a conventional fridge many years ago, never released it to this day - but we can't talk about that...…………….
