I've thinking about this for awhile now that I have a double trailer. My Pani's Supercorsas were great on the track. Gone through a couple of pairs. Just brilliant track tires. Not that great for the street however. My Monster has Rosso III. Will be tracking it this upcoming summer. Great tire for the street and should do the job on the track given my abilities. Just got Angel GT's to replace the OEM Scorpions on the Multi 1260. Not sure about being the right decision as I'll be tracking this bike also. Worse case is that I'll get something else next year.
Yes, those RS are equivalent to something in between Pirelli Rosso III's and Diablo Rosso Corsa's. I don't tour but I do track on occasion therefore I like sport tires. I did not like the OEM Scorpion Trails for the tarmac. If I rode dirt, then they'd be good. Nothing against Michelins but I'm a Pirelli fan boy. Not that I think they're better. It's just because I know what to expect (more or less). Same thing for skis. I've been on Volkl's for years. Over this time, yes there's been some models that I did not appreciate as much but it hasn't been a complete disaster. If the Angels GT's I just bought don't pan out, I'll try the new Diablo Rosso Corsa 2's or revert to Rosso III's which I really like.
Went down to lake district last week for a couple of nights. First time over Wrynose and Hardknott passes. Nice to get away.
I get your drift on the SC Projects thing. I'm looking to change the end can on my 1260 and seriously considering SCP via Conquest Carbon (Steve), instead of my usual preferred route of Akrapovic. It's likely to be a very close call. Grant Brooks; any feedback on quality, sound differences from standard, fit, etc? Give me a shout if you have any thoughts. Cheers TonyN
Hi Tony, It sounds better than stock but not overly loud, in terms of quality yes it’s very good and made of titanium
