I've sometimes wondered if the dealers do this are either expecting a shop fire very soon on the insurance or are hiding cash through some means from the tax man

 

Its SMC in Sheffield who are a Ducati dealer...their bikes are always ultra clean. They do sell 'em too ...

SMC had my 1198 (one owner, 10,500 miles, 4 years old) as a part ex. It sat in their showroom for at least 18 months, due in no small part to being well overpriced. I assume they’ve sold it by now, it’s over three years....
