I heard the ambulances go by my place (Hampshire) as I only live a couple of miles away, and my first thought was oh no, Sunday afternoon, well used bike road, could be a bike. Sadly I was right. If it's true the car driver was drug driving and caused the accident I hope they lock up the weed smoking shit and throw away the key.
Just for balance’s sake - the legal limits for drugs are set at what are basically trace amounts (which was contrary to the recommendation of the advisory body HM Govt consulted) and people can and do fail tests up to several days after last having a smoke/sniff. It’s awful though, regardless
