  1. Yes bud I so appreciate all your words and luv ( man luv obv ) but.. be it in my bed in my studio sitting on the loo ( poo much info there sorry) preparing noodles for my tea or being in my workshop all I can hear is his two dogs barking endlessly, sometimes fights with his GF in the early hours and at least 12 hours boom boom ( that’s while he’s at work and no one is in there) so called music coming through all the walls in Noodle towers, I’ve got 12 letters from the council saying do this and that but they do nothing etc.. So it’s completely impossible to avoid him impacting on my life and wellbeing especially coming home from nights too and trying to get some zzz zzz ..

If I don’t speak about it ? Well you know how things go in this head of mine.. so yes I get all that but it’s ell here and NO! Why should I leave the home I re furbed with an art studio and mint workshop plus where my two kids grew up ?

  2. Then the council are failing in their duty I’m afraid I’d be getting back onto them, we had to complain about our old neighbour years back and got sorted within 4 weeks.

  3. Perhaps someone might contact Anglian WA and find out if it’s still their van then... ? X

  4. They came out last week at 2am for me to listen to the loud music and as soon as they came in they agreed “that is harassment “ but, because the last council warning had expired they couldn’t act on it ( pathetic ) they had to write to him again and warn him blah blah blah.. it just goes on and on.. x

  5. I’d be surprised if it was an Anglian water van, the easy to remove side/bonnet decals are removed but the hard to remove chevrons are still there. Typical auction van after the contract period is up.

  6. My advice would be to shrug and ignore it plus turn the camera off.
Retire to a nice cup of tea/beverage of your choice.
T’ain’t worth the hassle of thinking about him.

  7. Ok fair play to them, however they still need to be on him especially as it seems this has been going on for some time?

  8. Might be hard to find out unless you contact them saying the vans clipped your car or it’s blocking your driveway, they might then tell you it isn’t owned by them

  9. place a 32mm dry wall screw upright in front of one or all of his tires. when he drives off he will get a puncture but it will be a slow leak so he wont know where he picked it up.. you can do this randomly for months

  10. Why two vans then?

  11. The council thing. I went through a similar event when a new couple moved into a flat directly below me at my last address. They were fighting, swearing, throwing things at each other or dog barking, saw me call the council. Yes you do have to jump through hoops and yes it takes longer than you feel it needs to.

Started off with diaries for a while, then they left sound detection equipment for 4/5 days, then they were sent a warning letter based on the tape informing them of their anti social behaviour and the consequences, they of course thought they could still ignore it and I was then asked to phone the dealing officer when they kicked off again

This part was difficult as often they would row for an hour then stop so you call the officer, he's busy and can't get to you but eventually he came when they were at it. Shortly after legal action was lined up against them and I believe it finally sunk in.

I felt, as do you now, the system is designed to get complainents to give in and I'm sure many do but if you can be patient and go through it, it can have a positive effect rather than letting it carry on.
