If anyone is thinking of parting with one - then please do contact me. I have been riding Ducati's since I was 17 (1982!) so it would be going to good home. Not too worried if it was scruffy as I will be riding it. I am in Midhurst, West Sussex. Regards Paul.
Hi Jon, can you tell me about its history and which of the common issues with these have been addressed. Has it been dropped? Engine apart? Who services it? Condition/last replaced/miles on disks, tyres, pads, chain, sprockets etc. extras/upgrades fitted - bar risers, Scottoiler, brake MS ... ?
I bought it 2 years ago from the last mature owner who had owned it 3 years and done one trip on it. When i got it, it could be very hard to start. I went through everthing and set it up correctly and now starts well. The rockers were all checked and valves adjusted, belts replaced with CCW belts and tensioner bearing. It has a scott oiler, heated grips, brand new michellin rear and half worn front tire. It has previously been changed colour, but there is no signs of it having been dropped. It has the Ducati performance comfort fairing and bar risers fitted, some of the comfort fairing parts have been repaired in the past and there is the odd crack in the mounting holes. but overall it is still a clean and tidy bike. Recent chain and sprockets. I am only selling as I find I ride it far to fast and it handles so well that I regulary get to work and realise I have been to the edge of the tires and done very naughty speeds !!
