That time again, booked our summer holidays we are heading to misano for moto gp and then flying on the tuesday to barcelona for wsbk. We had booked to fly on the thursday but bologna airport has decided to close for four days on the wednesday to maintain the runway.
And air conditioning it’ll be bloody hot there that time of year. Are you a member of DOCGB? Discounted tickets go on sale through them in March
Im not a member, will have to look into that, iv been to misano for wsb in june and can testify to how hot it can get. But hey ho i can wear a hankie on my head.
I joined last year, even though I’m no longer in GB, cost me £30 iirc but worth it, for me anyway, as it got me into the WSBK round at Donington for free last July (I happened to be in the UK for a week on a little tour), inside field, Ducati only area, saved me a lot mire than the subscription fee. Plus there are loads of other benefits.
With the current drop in Ryanair share price and all that extra profit they will make not flying people who have paid - maybe a good time to invest
Wonder will italy open up to the world this year and would you even want to go ( anywhere abroad) i was ment to go to wdw and also misano for moto gp then on to barcelona for wsb.
I genuinely don’t think international travel is going to be a thing this year. And if it is the summer will be long gone
Getting treatment by doctors in a foriegn language must be fraught, especially when its something life threatening. The UK government via Schapps is saying don't book travel right now. https://www.itv.com/news/2020-04-17/people-should-not-book-summer-holidays-downing-street-suggests/
I booked before all this and dont hold out much hope of any travel and to be honest dont really fancy travelling, i would say we will be experiencing wave after wave untill at least there is an immunity and a vaccine.
