Dynojet identification help please.

  1. Chris I don't know about DJ needles but years ago SU carbs on mini et al the needles changed measurable section every 1/16th"
    or every 0.0625". No relevance I know but could be similar.
     
  2. deffo sounds like dynojet their needles are needles standard ducati needles are blunt things

  3. Yep very pointy thin taper, almost delicate compared wuth the OEM nails.

  4. SU carbs on Minis...shagged out in 2000 miles....worn butterfly spindles and bushes.

    But I did like the H4s (or was it HS4) on my TR4 and TR4A....Nope HS6 2"" bore

  5. Thanks all - looks like will have to be trial and error as usual. Looking at people's experience with Dynojet needles in general (ok, so it's only the hinternet :biggrin:) throws up many contradictions - some people going back to stock settings after finding no noticeable improvements. Not a lot of air movement under an Elefant tank compared to Monster/SS and a load more work to remove tank to gain access.
     
  6. I found DJ vague when it came to the springs.........as mentioned I have two DJ sets both Stage 2, one for a 750 one for a 900.

    Spring lengths are different with the 900 ones 12mm longer than the 750 ones........DJ say spring lengths should be the same.

    Albeit I had some carburation problems (may not even have been carb issues) I changed the springs over but I couldn't see, hear or find any real difference in performance etc.
