Such as this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sea-Foam-M...locphy=9046031&hvtargid=pla-698055707160&th=1 Snake oil, or is it worth doing? Thinking of it for my S1000r, as it pops and farts like a pissed old granny, wonder if this would help.
SeaFoam actually has quite a good reputation from what I’ve researched. However, I have used injector cleaners but not SeaFoam, I’ve just bought a something from a recognised brand for petrol engines from Halfords or my local motor factors and stuck it in the fuel tank.
Tesco have Redex Injector Cleaner for half price at the moment in my local store (£4) and normal Redex for £2
When I get a new to me vehicle, I normally just wack reddex in for the first two tankfulls (equates to one bottle). I have no idea if it works but for a couple of quid, it makes me feel more happier about a tick off the tick list. I've yet to have a negative effect from it
hmm, I'v seen the demos by the reps. and I have seen and felt the difference in fuel consumption in my diesel cars. I can also feel the difference between standard and premium fuels. if only in the lower rev ranges. I don't think it would do any harm to put the occasional bit of "Dry fuel" in your bike if you are using it daily. I think the best way to keep your engine breathing and fueling correctly is to just kick the shit out of it regularly. maybe more so in cars. the difference in city V's country cars and associated running/anti pollution issues are well documented.
The green IW724 sidefed injectors? Was this recently? I emailed them to see if they could do mine but no reply yet. Saw the '2008' on the webpage and thought they might no longer be in business.
