Guys - hope you can assist. I got this DVT back in January and actually started it for the first time since, this morning...well the weather has been shite out. Unfortunately I have warning lights flashing up as on the photo. They dont seem to want to go out as the bike warms up So I guess this is indicating an ABS issue of some kind, any ideas what I can do or will I need to get back to the dealer I bought it from ?
As far as I am aware, once you get going on the bike, they will go out. I don't think you should have any concerns.
As above, until the wheels have rolled and the system can check the sensors are returning signals, they won’t go out.
Did you put the bike in to gear whilst up on the stand? I ask as I did and when I span the rear wheel I got an ABS error and this was because it read the rear wheel spinning and not the front and then thinking that the front sensor was not working.
No, never put it gear, although I was tempted to see if that would make a difference - the lights are just flashing while its on the stand. I will do as suggested if the weather ever allows and run it up the road Work and shite weather are gettin' in the way at the mo
