  1. Can anyone direct me to where this is on the v4 , it was freezing today but was saying on the dash that it was 36c I wish!

sounds like it’s dropped near to the engine or something nice and toasty.

  2. Actually doesn’t seem to be related to position, the dash read 43c this evening just as I turned the ignition on and in underground car park in Ireland...must be configuration or probe is damaged/calibration

  3. And if I do the math that works out as about 6c which is about right , so it’s displaying 43c but it means 43f perhaps

  4. Go into the settings menu and check the units. It's possible to change the speed (mph/kmh), fuel consumption units and temp

  5. Puzzled why you'd need to know the external temperature on a motorbike

  6. It's on the air conveyor unit (the large plastic box that is attached to the headlight. It is biased over to the left hand side of the assembly (as you sit on the bike) and has one two pin connector attached to it. It is fairly well recessed but if it is faulty, it may entail removing the headlight to gain enough access to unbolt it from the air conveyor. First port of call would be to disconnect the plug and plug the connector into another temp probe and see if that functions correctly before condemning the original unit.

  7. Definitely faulty was freezing here this morning wouldn’t even put the mother in law out in it

  8. I don't need one per see, but tis handy when it pops up the ice warning when heading home on country roads and helps modulate the right hand a little...

Also tried changing c to f and that just made it really wrong !

  9. Reminds me of a joke about C & A :D
