I'm a complete Clutz and although I was paid to be an engineer I was more like an Egg in Ear sorta guy. Honestly the shit I did really really makes me cringe (and that was just last week) I'm with @finm though there are those that Walk the Walk and those that Talk the Talk and guess who usually get the promotions On the HSE I heartily agree with @990Glen . My (bad attitude) take on HSE if you need all the PPE all the time and legal protection to be safe on a site, then you shouldn't be on the bloody site in the first place I keep meaning to get a small font phrase onto the base of the number plate "If Ridden Well Report Stolen"
As I’ve got older (and wiser) I’ve learnt that in certain situations acting a bit thick and stupid has got me further than making out I know it all (which of course I really do!)
Over the years I’ve done a lot of work with joe public on tracks and various performance/precision driving of again various types. I’d say 80%+ are below average
