A friend of mine, knowing my love of Thunderbird tracked some down. Apparently there’s only one importer, its in Kings Lynn. Back in the day there was Blue, red and black (rare) label, these days the label is blue and red. It tastes exactly as remembered.
I’ve been to the back of the cupboard, there are a few choice drinks to be found:- There’s a story behind each one, then there’s the sambuca and the honey rum...
I found this magnum tucked away a few days ago and thought I was pushing my luck as 2013 but still tasted great. Now all gone, cheers!
Neighbour runs this place. All the beer is lovely, all organic with reed bed filtration etc. He's just started making this, which is 2.8%, so you can have two or three bottles and not feel it in the morning. It's lovely.
can i just ask what im sure is on the tip of most folks tongues. whats the point in drinking something that doesn't fuck you up? or have i been missing the whole point for 35 years?
