Is There A 999rs (f03) Anorak In The House ?

  1. Is anyone willing to own up to being a big enough anorak to know if the F03 WSBK ever ran with a 6 spring slipper clutch or were they all 4 spring with the 2 prong starter holes ? I have a 6 hole slipper clutch pressure plate in a bronze green colour, engraved with the Ducati Corse shield logo, part number 194.1.019.2A, manufacture date 11.11.02 and serial number 043 which I bought from a reputable dealer in Italy a while ago which purports to be for a 999 F03. I’ve tried Googling the numbers with no success and I’ve looked at pictures of WSBK 999 F03 - F06 ‘til I’ve had to use Optrex to sooth the burning. I’d like it to be kosher but have my doubts which of course affects the advertising and asking price when I offer it for sale. This is the item of interest. Andy

  2. Historically Loads available in that colour with the shield on just a std Ducati after market bit .... just the going price for a slipper

  3. Yes, coming to that same conclusion. Just found a retailer on eBay calling themselves Tamborinifactory, flogging surprisingly similar looking stuff. Shame, mine looks well manufactured and the contact surface was ceramic coated (until it got used). Andy

  4. Looks very similar to Chili’s 998.9 one. Slight difference in numbers though.
