IIRC a mate who worked at Pantiles (Kawasaki dealer in Gorseinon) gave it to me so, like all kids I thought, great, fix it up. Every time I turned it on it blew the fuses out. Drop bars are of course ace bars, not clip ons. You missed the rear crash bars!! They did not stay on long (FFS!!).
Lolz I didn't notice the crashers on the back til you mentioned them, eye was being drawn to the hella sun spot
Marshall were loud, but Alpha 4's were as loud - me and a mate had 1 of each on out Z1000's - backwards and forwards under the railway underpass near York station was the regular laugh in 1st gear as there was an open footpath and people used to cower, some got down on the floor
It was a ship called the BenArty, back in 1979. My first trip as an Engineer Cadet (trainee). Engine was a 7 cylinder Sulzer RD76 if anyone is interested. As it was my first trip it was also my introduction to the delights of Singapore and backwater towns in Indonesia and Malaysia. Great fun
