My old Vespa. Not as bendy as that. But there are loads of variants of Piaggio.

Is it not from a 999?

Good shout, not really clued up on the pre 65 scooters but Vespas tend to be ali kickstarts and lambrettas steel.

 

Not sure about that. This doesn't look anywhere near as bendy as the one in the original post

I know from experience with mine and my mates scooters, kickstarters varied in shape rather a lot........

........some were modified for ease of use; some for custom work, but.........

.......usually because the scooter had been slung down the road at some stage.

However, when I was a kid I used to work on a smallholding in my spare time when I got home from school and at weekends.......I used a rotary mower with a kickstart but I can't find a photo yet.
All I recall is that it was bloody heavy, had something like a 3'-0" cut and would run away with me hanging on for dear life as soon as it was put into drive.

 

Just chuck it in the bin.
